'Essential Learnings' is one of the areas within our Learning Community, at Berwick Fields.  The main focus of this area is the curriculum that is develop and delivered at our school.

Our curriculum addresses the Learning Areas of Literacy, Numeracy, Integrated Studies, Learning Technologies and Specialist programs and is developed in line with the Victoria Essential Learning Standards (VELS).

We value each child as an individual with particular aptitudes, interests and capabilities.  Our aim is to identify personal strengths and skills and develop effective learning strategies for our students, which will enable them to achieve their potential and inspire life long learning. We set out to empower learners through shared ownership and reflective learning that promotes self assessment.
