Health and Wellbeing

The 'Health and Well-Being' Learning Community area aims to be pro-active in implementing strategies and programs that support a whole school approach to our communities health and well-being.
Our Health and Well-Being Committee, consisting of parents and staff meets regularly to develop and monitor frameworks and initiatives created within the school as a response to identified needs of our school community.  This includes connecting with and implementing initiatives from the Department of Education, welfare and support agencies and community groups.

Vision
The HWBC strives to facilitate an environment that is safe, connected and inclusive, based on effective communication, collaboration and a strong accountability framework, that empowers its members.

Mission
The HWBC will, on an ongoing basis, assess the needs of the school community and collaborate to define achievable goals, making this information easily accessible for the whole school community.

A student’s health and wellbeing the fundamental aspect of a child’s development and ensuring we meet this need maximizes the opportunity for your child to develop their full potential.

We are developing processes in our school culture that, along with our values, become a normal part of the everyday experience for everyone at Berwick Fields.

We have divided this area into a number of sections and these include;
